Immunisation and Travel

The Millhouse Integrative Medical Centre works cooperatively with parents in ensuring your children are adequately protected from the many childhood diseases that once devastated our communities. Our nurses will monitor babies and children's needs and send reminders of the dates for shots and boosters. We also provide advice on the timing of vaccinations, eg if your child is unwell.

For adults we can provide protection against hepatitis and other diseases such as typhoid. We can advise on travel requirements and preventative practices, as well as providing a full range of pretravel vaccinations. Over winter we provide flu injections, which are free to the elderly and people with chronic conditions like lung disease.
