I graduated from the University of Otago with a medical degree in 2002 and worked at various hospitals around New Zealand and the United Kingdom, gaining experience in general medicine, surgery, obstetrics & gynaecology, paediatrics, haematology and cardiology. I started training in the family medicine programme in Dunedin and Wanaka in 2007 and then worked as a general practitioner in Henderson. I gained the Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of GP's in 2011.
I moved from Korea to New Zealand with my family in 1995. I have made New Zealand my home country and feel privileged to be contributing towards better health care in New Zealand. I speak fluent English and Korean. After hours I enjoy spending time with my family - husband Malcolm. and our two children. My hobbies are playing netball, running, snowboarding and playing the piano.
I enjoy caring for population of diverse background and for people of all ages. My particular interests are children's health, women's health and care of the elderly.
