MB ChB, Dip Paed. FRNZCGP
I graduated from the University of Otago in year 2002. Since then I have practised in New Zealand and also spent 8 months in the United Kingdom. I received my Diploma in Pediatrics (care of children) in 2004 and I have gained my Fellowship (member) of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioner in 2010. I have been a resident in New Zealand since 1991 and speak fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese. I am married to my husband Stephen with two children. In my spare time, I enjoy a good piece of piano music and cooking up a meal.
I believe good medicine is to look at treating an illness and the effects of the illness in a person as a whole. This involves trying to understand a patient's experience of an illness as a person rather than a disease and aiming to help and guide them through to the path of recovery.
