Therese is a highly skilled doctor who commenced her medical training at the Ain Sham University in Cairo then worked for 20 years at the International Hospital in Bahrain for expatriate citizens. She emigrated to New Zealand in 1999, working initially in Auckland hospitals (National Women's and Middlemore), then after three years entering General Practice. Her enthusiasm for quality care prompted her to complete postgraduate Diplomas in Paediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynecology from Auckland University. She is also a member of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners.
Dr Therese speaks fluent English and Arabic and has a thorough understanding of 'Kiwi culture'. She lives in Howick with her doctor husband and has four children. She enjoys reading, swimming and table tennis. Dr Therese's special interests are in the health of women and children:
